Their beautiful Dendochilum magnum \u2018Champagne\u2019 CCM\/AOS and Oncidium \u2018Sharry Baby\u2019 both picked up second place ribbons and the Dendrochilum was second in the specimen class as well. Congratulations, Peter and Sherry!<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to <strong>Chris Varady<\/strong> too. His Epidendrum peperomia was entered as a separate display (on Pat Vuurman\u2019s suggestion) and it was first in that display category with a second place ribbon for the plant itself.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RBG<\/strong>\u2019s Pholidota imbricata got a first place ribbon and also a third in the specimen class. Two Brassavola nodosa plants were entered from the RBG collection and they won 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> respectively. Phragmipedium Cardinale \u2018Kilworth\u2019 AM\/AOS merited a 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place ribbon this time around.<\/p>\n<p>Other results were as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ben and Cindy Boers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cattlianthe Barefoot Mailman \u2013 3rd<\/p>\n<p>Cattleya Walkerinter v. coerulea \u2013 3rd<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gavin Clark<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Oncidium (Dancer x Robert Dugger \u2019Unicorn Ruby\u2019 Am\/AOS \u2013 1st<\/p>\n<p>Dendrobium Hibiki \u20133rd<\/p>\n<p>Xylobium varigatum \u20133rd<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gretta Culley<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cischeinfia pusilla \u2013 2nd<\/p>\n<p>Phragmipedium Hanne Popow \u2013 3rd<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wendy Hearder-Moan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Phalaenopsis pulchra \u2013 3rd<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pat and Lynda Vuurman<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cymbidium sinense \u20132nd<\/p>\n<p><strong>Linda Will<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Paphiopedilum Dollgoldi \u2013 1st<\/p>\n<p>Paphiopedilum Rosy Dawn &#8211; 2nd<\/p>\n<p>Paphiopedilum Great Inuyama \u20133rd<\/p>\n<p>Phragmidpedium Carol Kanzer \u2013 3rd<\/p>\n<p>The exhibit itself received a 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place ribbon. Thanks go to Frank Washburn, Gavin Clark, Jacqui Arindell and Rob Vanderheyden who, along with myself, travelled to Cambridge to set up the exhibit. Frank, Gavin, Jacqui, Jim Johnston and I also dismantled the display and returned everything to the RBG greenhouse on Sunday night.
